Title: Trapped - A poem | Submit a Review
mioneronforever: Oh you poor thing! I feel so bad for you! But it will be alright. Trust me. Everything happens for a reason. I read that in fourth grade and at many different times in my life have found it to be true. The poem was great, by the way. But it'll work out and God is watching over you, even if it feels like he's not there. We all have times like that, when you feel alone, but i'm sure it'll all work out. I thought your poem was amazing and that you should do more! You have such a talent for writing poetry! 2008-08-12 22:43:02
steven: Interesting expression of angst. Not rhymed, no scansion, regular meter, or evidence of 'feet'. So therefore it must be modern unrhymed verse. This is a genre of some repute and a great deal of value in its ability to express and illuminate modern society in its variety and complexity. I am uncertain in dealing with this poetic form so my opinion may not be of much value. However, this seems a genuinely felt expression of experienced reality, and I acknowledge this poems power to move me in sympathy for the pain that is given expression here. Well done. Keep writing, you have a decided talent. The '5' is a neutral grading due to my lack of experience. 2007-12-31 05:10:47
