THIS STORY IS NOT CREATED BY ME, I AM ONLY POSTING IT.

It was late and I peered out my window to the rainy sky above me.
Tonight was strangely… quiet.
Mum and dad must already be in bed because there is not a sound!
I’m starting to feel slightly peckish so I’m going to go ant raid the refrigerator.
My door is now open and I have to be quiet as I walk along our landing as for the creaky floor boards beneath.
There sounds as if there is already someone creeping around downstairs. But it can’t be. Our front door is always securely locked. It must be my dog Kenny. So I’m carrying on down the stairs and then I hear it!

Scratching noises. Someone must be in! I peer around my staircase banister to see this… thing. I gasp and the thing looks round.
I turn and as I start to run back up the stairs I feel a cold, frail hand upon my shoulder. My breath is drained from my body as I gasp and splutter, folding onto the wooden flooring.
I hear a strange noise, like dying! Then I realise it is my own body.
I am staring out onto my own body. Oh no! My soul has been drained.
Then I get a proper view of the thing. Brown eyes, blood red mouth, black tongue, razor sharp teeth and erm… sort of translucent.
The thing turns round and stares at me, my pale soul torn apart from my body. It can see me!
“What do you want with me?” I scream. The monster looks puzzled but then replies in a strange language.
“blech-aah-ti boa naysh”
What is it trying to say? Oh I wish this would end.
“I do not understand you, what are you trying to say? Oh please someone help me!” I cry out, but no one can hear me but the thing. I am a frail mist-like body that people can not see.
The monster coughs and splutters as if to clear his throat.
“Erm… I - am - here - to bring,”
Then the thing stopped and shook his head. Tears streamed down my face in fear, and sadness.
The monster faces up to the stairs then a glint shines murderously in his eyes. He trails his blood stained rags up the stairs and I hear the creak of a door. HE’S IN MUM AND DAD’S ROOM!
“NO! PLEASE STOP!” I shout in mercy.
Then a frightful scream shakes the house until once again, it is silent.
Then I see a shadowed image gliding down the stairs. I run to hide because I am sure that it is the monster.
“Taylor? Wait, Darling!!” The voice sounds familiar, it is mum!
I turn to see a horrific sight, I scream.
“Taylor, it is okay. Well of course it isn’t, look at you, what’s happened?”
I stare mindlessly at our rose patterned walls. Not taking any of it in. Not even bothering to listen to mum ramble on.
“Taylor!” Mum bellows. “Are you listening to me?”
“Erm, Yes mum,” I start crying “what has happened mum. What are we going to do?”
Then we hear the shadowed monster start lumbering down the stairs, then suddenly my mum fades away into the wall, she is gone.
I see the glint in the monsters eye and scream.
If ghosts can go through walls, then I’m sure going to be able too.
I speed at the wall and shoot straight through and materialize on the other side. Lights turn on in all houses from my street. To three streets away.
Then more ghost like people come gliding out. But more scary! This is it! The monster thing has turned everyone into spirits. Worst is, they are all after me…
