Monday Morning Sorrow

I was walking down the snow covered side-walk to the bus stop up the street, the cold bit my ears and nose and snow got into my shoes. It was just like any other Monday Morning when I had school. I woke up at 6:55a.m. just like any other day, went up the street to catch my bus as usual. I caught the bus, got the usual cat calling at my as usual, and looked out the window ignoring everything.

Iím always called names, though I know they shouldnít be calling me anything. I put up with it anyway. Why they call me names? Well, itís always the same ones, Bitch, MF, anything they can dig up really. They call me them because I stick up for my friend who doesnít have the best hygiene in the world and who is 16 in 8th grade. So since I stick up for him, they think were going out (dating) and tell me to go do stuff that I would never do until I was married. Thatís just the usual stuff on the bus.

I sat on the bus thinking of the day ahead of me. I had two projects due, a paper for math, and a couple other assignments. I knew I had them all finished. I always do my homework. I donít exactly like it because it takes up a lot of my time, but I guess thatís what any other 13yr. old would say.

As the bus moved on to other houses, I snapped out of my daze at the mention of my name. it turned out, though, just to be about the other Marisa. I went back to dazing in my own world.

Most people would call me weird. They say that I day dream too much and read to big of books. Though they didnít know though, not even me, that because I read so many books, it would save their lives. I didnít know that I wouldnít not only save myself, but everyone in my school.
