Ok so I uploaded this story before, but something happened and I couldn’t see the chapters, so I deleted it and am uploading it again. I’ve edited it so hopefully my writing is a bit better than last time.
Disclaimer, I don’t own any of this

Chapter One
Harry sat in Dumbledore’s office in shock. The last family he had, gone. Sirius was gone. He was all Harry had, and besides Remus, the last marauder. The last connection to his parents, gone.
“No, not gone, taken” Harry thought as his face hardened, thinking about Sirius’s death. “He didn’t disappear; he was taken from me, the last family I have, stolen.”
Dumbledore entered the office, his normally twinkly eyes tired and sad. He paused, about to say something, but stopped, and instead offered Harry a sad, understanding smile, pushed something into Harry's hand, and left.
Harry looked down in confusion and froze. It was a small vial filled with iridescent liquid and plainly labeled, "Sirius Black". His memories. In his hand, Harry was holding all that remained of his godfather. He held his happiness, his anger, his sadness, his love. His legacy.
“My parents are in here,” Harry thought, almost surprised. He slowly walked over to the stone bowl, and paused. He was reluctant to tarnish his memories of Sirius with whatever might be in here. But the longing to see him and his parents, alive and young, pushed him the last few steps toward the pensive, where he tipped the vial, spilling the silver memories. Taking a deep breath, he plunged his head in.
