"But I can't attend Hogwarts!" I told my mother. "And why not?" she asked. "I have a Canadian accent! I'll stick out like a soore thumb." I argued. "But that is what makes you unique" Mother said. "Mother, I can't go to Hogwarts! Those outfits are ugly and I can't live with those people." I said. "And why not?" She repeated. "Mother!" I argued. "But your uncle Lupin taught there, remember?" She said. "I don't care! I'm not going and you can not make me!" "Yes I can make you young lady. And for Pete sakes Ophelia, you're going to be seventeen in a couple months! Stop acting like a first year and act your age. End of discussion." She said. I folded my arms angrily in defeat. My mom wasn't too happy about me being a witch. She never had any form of magical powers, so she always envied her younger brother Remus. But then after he was bitten by a werewolf as a young boy, my mother considered herself very lucky that she didn't have to put up with having magical powers. We were on our way to number Twelve, Grimmauld place. My mom was dropping me off there. I was supposed to meet Lupin there. He was the one who was going to drop me off at Platform 9 and ¾ in a few days. And Sirius was living there, so it was going to be great catching up with him. My mom didn't like me talking to him. Even though she knew him for years and was well aware that Wormtail was still breathing, she wanted nothing to do with him. She still believed that he was a psycho murderer on a rampage. I entered Sirius's house. I heard voices. "Hello?" I called. "Ophelia?" My uncle's voice came from the kitchen. "Yeah." I said. I heard him get off a squeaky chair and came to greet me. He welcomed me with open arms, which I graciously returned with a nice, friendly, warm hug. "Come into the kitchen with me, there's a few people who I want you to meet..." Remus said and he led me to the kitchen. I remember being here once, but not very well. I was very young, and Lupin brought me here to get something. I came into the kitchen, and I saw a very familiar face. I'd recognize his messy jet black hair and glasses anywhere. "Ophelia, this is Harry Potter..." He said. "Hello." He said. "Hello." I said shyly. "Ronald Weasley..." Lupin continued, as he introduced me to a guy with flaming red hair. "Oi." He said, food was in his mouth and accidentally spat some on my new robes. I gave him a small forced smile, trying to hide my disgust. "And this is Hermione Granger." Lupin said, showing me a girl with bushy brown hair and blue eyes. "Pleasure." She said. "Yep." I said. "Ophelia is my niece. She's attending her first and last year at Hogwarts." Lupin explained, "Harry, Hermione, and Ron are finished with their schooling. They dropped out last year." "That's cool." I said trying to sound the least bit interested for my uncle's sake. "Did I hear the name Ophelia?" A voice came. I turned around and I saw Sirius. I recognized him the moment I saw him. My eyes glowed with excitement. I never met Sirius before sadly, but Uncle Lupin told me all about him and their adventures when they attended Hogwarts. "Sirius!" I said. "Hello." He said as we hugged. "So you're Lupin's niece, huh?" He said. I nodded. He gave off such a good vibe. Or an amazing one if you think about how he's been living in Azkaban for thirteen years. Harry's Point of View "Oh, I almost forgot to mention, my niece Ophelia is coming to stay here for the last few days of holidays. She's incredibly shy and can seem a bit stuck up when she first meets people, but believe me. Once she trusts you and starts to give you a chance, she'll loosen up." Lupin said. "Goody." Ron said. We heard the door open, and a Canadian accented-voice say "Hello?" "Ophelia?" Lupin called back. "Yeah." The girl's voice replied. "One moment... let me go fetch her." Lupin said quietly and got off the chair he was sitting on and went into the entrance hall. He came back into the kitchen with a really pretty girl. Her long blond hair was flowing down carelessly and her crystal-clear blue eyes were entrancing. I couldn't take my eyes off her for a moment. "Ophelia, this is Harry Potter..." Lupin said, bringing me back to earth. "Hello." I said, accidentally sounding a little too eager. No body noticed that though. "Hello." She said, really quietly that I could barely hear her. "Ronald Weasley..." Lupin continued, taking her attention off of me and it went to Ron. "Oi." He said. I saw him spit food on her, and the look on her face. I knew that she was trying her best to stop from looking revolted. "And this is Hermione Granger." Lupin said, a little fast before Ophelia could say hello to Ron. He knew that she didn't appreciate having food spat on her. "Pleasure." Hermione said. "Yep." She replied casually. Sirius entered the room, but I took no notice. I just kept eyeing the goddess called Ophelia. And when I saw her throw her arms around him happily, that brought me back to earth. Have they met before...? Maybe Sirius knows her very well, and I could ask questions about her.... "So... who's up for dinner?" Lupin said, feeling in the silence. ~*~ Ophelia's Point of View In the evening, a balding man with horn-rimmed glasses came by floo powder. "Who's that?" I asked Lupin. "Arthur Weasley, Ron's dad. He came to get Ron and Hermione..." He explained to me. "Ooh." I said. I watched as Ron and Hermione said goodbye to Harry, Sirius, and then Lupin. "It was nice meeting you." Hermione said politely to me. "Oh... you too Hermione." I said, giving her a small smile. They left. "I think I want to go to bed..." I told Lupin. "So soon? It's barely ten... But oh well. Come, I'll show you to your room." He said. "Thanks." I said and I followed my uncle upstairs. He led me to the first door to the left that was up the stairs. "Have a nice sleep..." He said and he shut the door. I looked and saw that my bags and stuff were already there. I grabbed my suitcase of clothes and dug through it to find my light blue night gown. I looked in the mirror examining my crystal clear blue eyes and I noticed that my brush and make up were on the dresser. So I picked up my brush and starting to brush my long blond hair. There was a knock on the door. "Come in." I invited. The door opened, and standing there was Harry. "Care for a game of Exploding Snap?" He offered. "I don't know the rules." I said. "Want me to teach you?" He offered. "No, I don't like to learn new games often." I declined. "Have you ever played Wizards Chess?" He asked. "Yeah, I used to play it all the time with my grandmother. But after she died, I haven't bothered to play a game. It makes me too sad." I said. "Oh... sorry." He muttered. "It is fine." I said. We stood in awkward silence. "Well goodnight than, I guess..." Harry said. "Night Harry." I said unenthusiastically. Harry left my room and shut the door.
