This story is told by not just by myself but by writers that have planned the plot with me. We all hope you enjoy the story this is part 1 of this wonderful story each part will take place in a year so in total there will be 7 parts in this story.

Chapter 0 - Dark Future: The beginning

The final battle between the two would be worthy of legend for years to come. On one side, the dark lord Voldemort, on the other, Harry Potter, the Boy Who Lived. It was swift, brutal, and violent; and when it was over, Harry Potter lay dead on the ground. Voldemort had what he wanted. The death of the only one capable of defeating him. All hope disappeared in an instant. Harry's best friends rushed over to him and knew immediately that the Boy Who Lived was no more. 

But the war did not end there. Everyone who could fight joined the cause. Battles raged over the wizarding world, and months later Hogwarts was destroyed in one of the most brutal battles of all time. Because of the heroic efforts of Professors Flitwick, McGonagall, Slughorn, and even Hagrid a handful of students escaped alive. Other magical schools followed one by one until only one remained in Europe. Durmstrang, the foot hold of the death eaters. More young witches and wizards join the death eater ranks and their numbers continued to grow. Only the Western States of America remain untouched, guarded by their government's relentless isolationism and their legendary corps of Aurors, the Swift Sword. Many wizards have sought sanctuary within their borders. 

But not everyone has lost hope: some believe that Voldemort can be defeated. There is always a way, even when everything seems grim. Heroes will one day rise and take this unspeakable evil down but at what price? Who will survive Voldemort's war? And will there be anything of value after he is defeated, if he ever is?
