"Hurry up we're going to be late if you two don't stop fooling around" snapped Hermionie as they walked towards herbology. Ron and Harry set down the chess pieces they had in their hands with a glare at Hermionie. " Fine " they said in unison as they started to walk to the portrait hole. They hurried toward the green house silently. Luckily they arrived at the green house before Professor sprout. " I wonder where the Professor is, " said Harry " She is never late”. His question was answered almost immediately. 
    Professor sprout Emerged from the door with a nervous looking girl in toe. " We have a new student " professor sprout announced to the on looking class. " This is Adelynn Cavon, she just transferred here from Durmstrang. I will expect you to make her feel welcome and help her learn the ropes." she said as she motioned to the girl standing next to her. The girl was about Hermionies Height with wavy blonde hair that reached her shoulders. Her eyes where a beautiful grey blue. She glanced around the room shyly. She was wearing gryfandor robes. Professor sprout motioned her to sit in the empty seat next to Ron.
      Ron looked almost as nervous as the girl as the silently sat down beside him. As classes progressed a few things about the girl became apparent to them. For one she was very smart and loved herbology and potions. Two, she was very quiet and shy and Three, She read just as many books as Hermionie. She didn't do as well in her other classes but she was still passing.
        They started hanging out with her more often. They all got along great. For some reason though Ron wasn't acting himself at all when she was arround, and they had started noticing.
    " What has gotten into you lately" asked harry when he and Ron had reached their dormitory. " What do you mean " replied Ron not looking Harry in the eyes. " You know perfectly well what I mean " harry retorted, " every tine your near Adelynn you act all weird. " Well, It's Just.." Ron stammered, " I like her, OK. I mean REALY like her. " He finally managed to blurt out. " well then tell her " Harry said amused. " I can't, every time I try I get all tongue tied" Ron replied.
     
The next day Ron promised himself that he was going to tell Adelynn how he felt. He told harry what he was going to do. On the way back from herbology harry said to Hermionie " I just remembered, I have to do a report on giant horned toads as extra credit. It would really help if you would help me find some books on them." He said this loud enough for Ron and Adelynn to hear. Before they could say anything he and Hermionie Hurried off to the library, leaving her and Ron alone. 
      " Um... Well..." Ron said as he tried to think of what to say. To his suprise Adelynn was the first to speak. " Um...Ron, there has been somthing I've been wanting to tell you. You probably think I'm really supid for saying this but..." She said nervously. Ron’s heart was pounding in his ears. "I really like you, I've been worried that you would laugh at me but I had to tell you..." she finished quietly looking at the ground. " I wanted to tell you the same thing." Ron said looking at her. Constalynn lifted her head to meet his eyes. Before she knew what was happening they where in a tight embrace. Their lips met each other’s in a passionate kiss. When they released each other they stared deep into each other’s eyes thinking the exact same thing. That they never wanted to leave each other’s sight. They wished that they could let that moment last forever. They walked back down the corridor in blissful silence arm in arm.
