Inspiration



A sea of inspiration flooded my brain
My pen started writing itself
                A train of thoughts
                A train of words
Started forming on a piece of paper
A chance to get things off my chest


Emotions overtaking me
Rational thinking deserting me
As if another spirit had overtaken me
Giving me a chance to escape from the sea of misery


From the dark abyss of my brain
Thoughts swimming in the depth of an ocean
Emerge and reach towards the surface
A chance to get things off my chest


So powerful the might of a pen
I use it to describe how I was feeling then
While writing a masterpiece
Emotions overtaking me
