The Hidden Gray Trapped by my own mind Writing verse after verse And line after line While I think, That the whole world must be blind, Their conscience asleep Because I have learned So many things unknowingly go so deep Yet trapped I am still My heart breaks! Whereas others barely feel Worse than the devil's own deal? You will know, when the harsh pain you yourself will feel Those who see too much Sometimes wish to be blinded I don't, but then, I can be sometimes a little blind-sighted You can see the devil And you must fight it You already have the great candle All you have to do is ignite it Take my words with you, if you shall Sleep on them And in your dream the truth will occur You will see finally The people who are seeking aid and succor So many things hidden So many lies told So many people suffer As slowly the devil strengthens his hold I am not here to preach I am not here to teach I am here to say Because like many, my vision is not black or white It is the hidden gray.
